Thankfully this weekend was alot calmer than last. I did not travel, but Mark did so I decided to spend the weekend at my parents. Fortunately for Ella my parents believe in Barney, so Ella watched "Ba" the whole time. She is in love with Barney which drives me crazy because I think he is a little strange. But......if she's happy, I'm happy. I do get a good laugh out of her though since she has now watched the videos so much she can now do some of the dances and sings along. It is really cute. Here's a picture of her when she got in from church. She immediately ran to her rocker in front of the TV and would hardly move her eyes from the screen to look at me for a picture. Definitely no smile either. UGH. This morning before we left I caught her hugging the TV. Ummmmm. I'm getting worried.

On Saturday, my wonderful friend Leslie came over and helped me plant some pots of flowers to put in my backyard. I'm so proud of them and they look terrific. It's too bad that I will probably kill them off in the next few weeks, but it will be a fun experiment. I've tried this before and I've decided the only place where I can truly appear to have a green thumb is in Tennessee. See, they get enough rain that if I "happen" to forget to water I'm covered by mother nature. Not so true here in the great West Texas heat.

And finally I've decided to post a picture of Hayden at the top, hanging out in his house shoes. They are little horses. Too cute. Ella had little lambs and I remember laughing at hers because they were so stinkin' cute. Hayden's horses had the same effect. I'll post a picture of Ella in hers for memory's sake. It is amazing how fast she's grown. My baby.
