Spring Bouquet

This morning I stepped outside with the kids to see what the weather was like.  Immediately the kids began picking the weeds from the yard and brought them to me with great big smiles on their faces.  Ella told me that I can now marry Daddy again because I have beautiful flowers.  She has really gotten into the "getting married" idea lately and tells me all the time that she is either marrying her cousin Luke or her brother.  Not so sure that is going to work out. 

It is amazing to me that God created weeds, something that can be such a neuisance, but the amazing part is that they really can be so beautiful.  I started to think that many times in our lives we may look at things that cause us grief, but then realize that God has put those things there to show us the beauty it can bring as well.  These things shape us and change us and may possibly give us a new outlook on life.  So, I'm embracing my beautiful bouquet and even put my flowers in a cup of water.  Especially since it is my wedding bouquet!
