Can you tell a difference??
The picture on the left is the original and the one on the right is edited. Does it pop more to you or not? I'm not so convinced by my work in Corel. I used this FANTASTIC site called Coffee Shop Free PS/PSE Actions where she had a guest blogger talk about working with eyes. I think Macy's eyes already "pop" on their own, but every cool trick has its place, so here's my go of it. I can see more clarity and definition, but nothing to go gaga over. Of course, I don't have Photoshop, so I'm having to take her instructions and convert them to work for me in Corel. It hasn't been too bad, so if you have Corel and have been wondering if you can do the same things as the more expensive counterpart P.S. then yes, you can!

I can't really tell a difference, but I'm an untrained eye. Chad uses GIMP and Lightroom 3 Beta, which are both FREE! I don't know anything Corel, but he does some amazing stuff with those 2 programs if you want to give them a try. ;)
The one on the right looks sharper - more sparkle in the eye. I don't have any editing software yet, I've been looking for a good one.
Thank you Stephanie!!! I'm glad you could see the bit of sparkle. Ha! I thought I had maybe gotten a little to caught up in it and was imagining that I could tell a difference.
