Perfect Weather!

All I can say is that yesterday was one of the most perfect Saturdays I have ever had.  What did I do you ask?  Nothing!  Absolutely nothing.  Mark had some work to do so the kids and I spent almost the entire day out on the front driveway, riding bikes, drawing with sidewalk chalk and me relaxing on an old comforter with my book and visiting with my neighbor.  It could not have been a more perfect way to enjoy the Spring (almost Summer) like weather.  After the kids wore themselves out we all retreated indoors with the windows open, ceiling fans spinning and cool sheets to nap under.  Even I put my feet up on the couch, opened my book and turned on some classical guitar music to relax to.  My reading slowly turned into heavy eyelids and I decided to pull the blanket off the back of the couch, close my book and listen to the music.  I quickly dozed off and then startled awake an hour later.  It didn't matter though, I could have slept, I could have done laundry, I could have blogged, I could have checked facebook, but instead I did what we all should do on weekends.  I caught up on family time, stayed away from the computer and cell phone and got some much needed rest.  After everyone woke up from their naps we returned to the outdoors until time for dinner.  I LOVE this time of year, if I haven't told you enough yet.  This was one of those days you wish would never end.  I hope that it is a memory I hold onto forever.
Don't ask my obsession lately with taking pictures of my feet.  The sky was so blue, and yes this is edited to make it look more so, but I was playing with the sun and getting sun flares, so something had to go up there in the picture to make a comparison.  And yes I'm pasty white and yes, that is the same pedicure I've had since my spa day at the beginning of January.  Great nailpolish, huh?  Sure has held up.  Thank you OPI, Don't Wine About It, Yukon Do It.  :)  Oh, and no making fun of my toes.  Yes, I know my second toe is square.  Thank you Mark.
Like my color blocks?  Makes the boring pictures much more interesting!  Thanks Haylee for the great book to read.  I'm enjoying it!!
Daddy took the kids for a special treat before we started our outside adventures.  Macy was in LOVE with her first blended coke float!  She also enjoyed sticking her entire fists down in the cup and flicking ice cream covered straws at my face.
Dehydrated?

Yes, you are cute and spoiled rotten.

I read that book a while back. It's got a surprising twist at the end! :)
