How is it that my two favorite seasons seem to be the shortest? I dread those moments when that fall cool air suddenly seems more that just cool, it is just down right cold, or when that warm spring air starts to turn hot and humid begging for you to turn on the air conditioner. No, I prefer for the windows to be open and for nature to be my thermostat. I love the gentle breeze slipping through the window causing the window sheer to dance about. I love the way it makes my skin feel alive after being trapped under sweaters and coats. I love slipping into clean sheets and turning on the ceiling fan. Oh SPRING how I've missed you. It seems as if this past week has brought some warmer weather and I for one have enjoyed it immensely. I have been trapped inside long enough, stuck at the computer working on some big projects. My only saving grace has been able to have my office windows open and hearing the children giggling on the trampoline. The sweetest sounds to accompany anyones work load.
Yesterday I was done with the computer and telephone and ready to take a break. The kids were all home from school and I decided to slip on out to the trampoline with them. One zipper away from jumping back into childhood. Although I did not have a trampoline growing up I still associate it with fun times that were had at friends homes that did. It is amazing how quickly you begin to laugh and forget your troubles. The dirty feet, the static hair, the feel of the cool black stretchy mesh. Since I would still consider myself recovering from back surgery, I played the innocent bystander that would cuddle with whomever needed a breather. Macy was my biggest companion for the afternoon, sucking her finger and holding onto her blankie. That being said, she can jump with the best of them, but I think her favorite thing to do is run from one side to the other.
Still in her footed pjs from earlier that day she was able to work up some mean static electricity on the fine hair of hers.
My beautiful firstborn.
We are gearing up for Hayden to turn 4. In a couple of weeks we will be celebrating his special day and his request is to have a Batman birthday party. Hayden is one serious Batman fanatic.
He has even mastered the serious Batman expressions! Watch out Joker. And you better believe that cape is permanently tied around his neck, with adult supervision of course.
Oh Hayden, you are my funny guy! I could not stop laughing when I saw this picture. He was mid jump and he has the best stretchy skin because there were several where his cheeks were going down as he was going up. This picture makes my giggle because I can tell his effort trying to jump up by the way his neck is working against gravity. I decided Hayden needed some extra pictures on here today as he sometimes is not the biggest fan of taking them.
Hayden has the most beautiful blue eyes!
He sure is a good brother especially for having three mothers.
They sure have a lot of love though!

Great pictures, girlie! But what did I expect!! Nothing less! :) Love the last one of the girls. Just precious. And H and his Batman stuff, sweet boy! Miss you! Hugs from down the way! ;)
I love all of the pictures! You need to teach me how to do better with my camera since I cannot hire you to follow me around all the time. My favorite pictures are the one of Hayden on your feet and the last one with your precious daughters together. Love your family!
