Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends over this weekend. We celebrated with my family this year and because my camera is officially broken, I am without pictures to help tell of our week. Ella and Hayden enjoyed their cousins tremendously and it was great to catch up with friends from Midland. I miss them!! Anyway, my Mom and I took some Christmas pictures of the kids so hopefully she will email those to me soon so I can post them here. Until then....I'm open to any camera suggestions!!! I loved my camera and I'm very, very, very sad that it is broken. I have used that thing almost everyday since Ella was born. I didn't realize you could become so attached to a piece of electronic equipment. So, to spare you any more tears on my part I'll share some pictures from the San Antonio run! Enjoy! (P.S. I'm not sure why the previous paragraph is underlined. I can't get it to come off. Oh well!)
Here is my friend Ashley before the race posing with "Bubba Gump". I could not get over some of the outfits I saw while running!!! It really is amazing these people could run so far with all that garb on!
Look! I really did run!! My hair is soaking wet as I had just squeezed a ice cold sponge on my head. Plus this was the last downhill before running uphill to the finish line.
And here we all are, Ashley, Amber and Me with our finisher medals!! Glad to have it over!!
