Obviously, I did

So sorry to all my friends that read my last post......truly an example of how strange I can be. I had a good laugh after reading a friends comment that said my post read like I was on a caffeine high. I may have been, or it could have just been one of those "Meredith Moments". That's why you all keep coming back to read, isn't it???? :) Anyway, on to bigger and better blogging. For today, I thought I would post some pictures from a recent birthday gift I made for Ella's friend Cynthia Grace and pictures from our Pumpkin Patch visit yesterday with our playgroup. Enjoy!! P.S. After I get some photo's back from Shannon, I'll post about our fun visit from her and her sweet girls!!

Hayden and Ella as a Dinosaur (playing with a friend's sword) and our beautiful Ballerina

This is the gift inspiration that I made a couple of months back for our friend Brighton. I got the idea from Skip To My Lou's blog. You can see the tutorial here.
This is what it looked like wrapped up and ready to go!

This is the gift I made for Cynthia Grace. I made it like the crayon roll on the left, but then made a slit in my fabric to hold a notepad for her to draw on. CG loves purses so I thought I would make it like one so she could carry it around. I put velcro on the sides so that it would stay together while she carried it. I used jumbo crayons when gifting this for her little hands, so I had to make my crayon spaces slightly larger. It worked!

Here it is closed!

Ella and Hayden look too cute. And, that coloring purse? You are too talented! Did you have to stay up until 3am to get it finished Friday night??? You are crazy!
