Have I Lost My Mind?

I think so! Instead of spending my time wisely right now and cleaning my house for our guests tomorrow, what am I do???? Raiding the newly bought Halloween candy and get this.....teaching myself how to knit. That's right folks, send me to the funny farm. Why is this so crazy you ask? Because I lack that special project completing quality called patients. Nine months of being pregnant was torture for me because of the waiting involved for the finished product. Not really but, it did teach me to be more patient though.....hummmm, maybe that is why Hayden came a month early, he lacks patients too?? That's a big ole' yes. I wish you all could have seen him in Walmart today as I browsed the yarn aisle. Yep. That is torture in and of itself. Shopping at Walmart with the joyous addition of a screaming child while you decide you need a new naptime project. Yep, it's the funny farm for sure. Just set me up with a cup of camomile tea and sit me in the rocker. Atleast I will know how to knit and poke the other crazies at the farm with my knitting needles if they get too close! Actually all I want to be able to make is a cute scarf. Let's see...... it cost me $7 for the guide to knitting booklet and $5 for the yarn when I could have spent $7 for a super cute scarf WITH a matching hat! Get this....it actually would perform the same duty, not make me lose my mind and......... look like a scarf!!!! So far the few rows I've knitted are not showing perfection and I'm pretty sure that I may have missed a few loops. I'll be sure to share with you what it turns out like.
