I have not been the picture of health by drinking my recommended daily dose of water and neither have my kids. I do a little better during the hot summer, but really there are days that I go without much at all. I mean, I don't drink sodas (well, maybe at Chick-fil-A) or juice, just an occasional cup of coffee in the morning and maybe some tea. I know, I know, it's not good, however I have passed this bad trait onto my children. They drink milk or juice by the gallons it seems but have never been interested in a non sugar or non dairy beverage until I broke out my water bottle. It has amazed me. I was trying to do better by challenging myself to drink atleast an entire water bottle a day and luckily I have made it passed one a day, my kids are probably helping me though. They love the straw?? I have no idea. They also love just regular bottles of water. Now, we have had every kind of sippy cup known to man and even the straw cups, but those stinkin' sippy cups never persuaded my children to drink water. So, now that I've hooked both of my kids and Mark on my new water bottle I broke down and bought everyone one. The kid's are half the size of mine and Mark's. Did you know that according to the info on the side of the bottle's packaging that kids between 1-3 are suppose to drink 40 oz. a day???? I think I'm suppose to drink about 92-96?? That's 3 of my water bottles!!! Ridiculous. I better go refill. OH, the best thing about it, the kids have not had juice the past two days. Fantastic!!!! Just some milk and water!! Here's to healthy living! Cheers!

Oh man, I want one of those. It's the water bottle that you can freeze water on the inside to keep it cold on a hot day, right? I know they're not expensive...I just need to splurge (ha) and go get one!
That really surprises me that you don't drink more water. But, I'm the same way (it was a lot worse when I was working in the ER). What kind of water bottle is that? I may have to jump on the water wagon!!
Okay...you always make me laugh!!! I am proud of you for trying to drink more water! That a girl! I used to drink about a gallon a day (pre-kids) and now it's more like a gallon a week. ;) Anyhow, yay for you! Sure do miss you! I know you don't think I want to be your friend anymore, but I really do! :) And I did NOT get that text, so call the phone company! ;) Love ya!
I've read half of the united states is dehydrated due to lack of water intake. My girls drink water-on their own. Nothing I did-but I'm glad they do!! Your kids are growing-they're so cute.
