Essentials of the Diaper Bag

No, it's not the diapers, no, it's not the wipes, it is........the Pacifier!!! If you have a baby or are about to, you will soon come to realize that the baby market continually changes. Everything is new and improved within 6 months of when you bought the original product. It makes you sick if you like the improvements of the new product after you have shelled out the cash for say, a stroller, there's really nothing you can do about it unless you have the money to buy another one. However, one product improvement that is inexpensive to upgrade is the pacifier. They come in many shapes, sizes, colors, bling or no bling, gum massagers, clips and clamps. It is amazing that there are so many. However, I have found the one that no parent needs to live without. (If your child loves their paci.) It is called the RaZbaby.
Oooooooh, ahhhhhhhh. Yes ladies and gents, this product promises to close its protective cover on impact if it fall out of your childs mouth and onto the floor, keeping all the OCD parents happy that their baby's pacifier is germ free.
The only thing I find troublesome with this product is that it's hinges are pretty quick and it scares me everytime that it is going to pinch Hayden when I put it in his mouth. It wouldn't hurt him of course because the hinge isn't strong, it just freaks me out to see the thing clamp up. The other HUGE benefit is that his 21 month old sister can't figure out how to open it back up and put it in her mouth. This is big guys!! Ella was a big fan of the paci and we got rid of it a few months before Hayden was born. She really didn't mind that it was gone, but she did come to realize that it was fun again once Hayden started to sport his around the house. Soooooo, thank you RaZbaby, for helping me not to go crazy running to the sink and back everytime the paci drops!!!!

Oh, just one other small problem, the thing is HUGE! It looks like it could eat Hayden. Ha! Maybe that's why I freak when the thing closes when I try to put it in his mouth. Yikes!!

We were out all day long and forgot Mallory's paci and blanket at home...not a fun car ride when she hadn't had a nap and was cranky!! We won't do that again!

And we completely understand about the dog situation. We had to give Beasley (our lab) away. He had skin issues and exercising/attention issues. It's so hard when they are such a part of your family. But, you have to do what is best for them and you!

Im glad you found us. Now I wont have to keep up with yall through Rick and Shara. I just wanted to say a big thanks for your letter you sent Jaymie. You dont know how encouraging that was for her...or maybe you do and that's why you did it. Either way it was very kind and thoughtful. Those "little" things have been very valuable in the last month.

Meredith,
I wrote all this stuff and it all disappeared because I had to chose an Identity. Well, you just need to call me. Can't believe Harley has a new owner. Can't believe Mark's knees looked fatter than mine. Can't believe you have figured out how to blog. The girls at Methodist asked about you yesterday. Delores seems very happily married, Rhonda seems very happily divorced, Judy seems very happy getting her 2nd grandbaby. Sonjah from Dr. Clarke's office asked about you yesterday as well.
Everyone still loves you and still misses you. I miss you too...a bunch.
I've never blogged before in my life.
Love you always,

OH Harley............we are so sad. Just as long as Gibson does not go anywhere without our consent. I am so happy you entered the blog world, I love stalking you folks. I am sure I will join soon, but stalking is way too fun. We miss seeing you guys. It's so silly that we live a couple of blocks away and NEVER see ya.........busy busy busy I guess. Tell Mark his knees are SICK, but I would not expect anything else from him. Love ya Meredith!
