Totally Cool!

I have made it home! I am so glad to be back with my little family. The trip home was uneventful, just sad that I missed out on having a good time with some friends AND sad that I haven't run since my 8 miles on Monday. Seeing how last night I submitted my entry for my first full marathon, I'm ready to get back on the road. I'm feeling better and my lungs feel good, I just sound horrible.  Hoping this weekend I wake up ready to hit the pavement.

Great news!!!! My favorite podcast is now my favorite magazine!!! I did not have a subscription to Running Times, but since I was on planes all week and I had already read this month's issue of Runners World, I downloaded RT on my Kindle. It really is just as awesome looking at the magazine on my iPad and iPhone as it is having the real thing. (Which I doubted!!)  Also, I don't have to worry that Mark is going to throw it away when he gets in one of his decluttering moods. Only downfall is when you have to turn off your electronic devices on take off and landing.
Don't you love when you misspell made up words and make a caption to explain yourself....I'm too lazy to correct it.  I do realize I'm missing an 'E'.   ha ha ha
So, anyone watch the big debate?  I wasn't really planning on it because I had plans to go explore Phoenix on my free night, but because I was sick, I ended up staying in bed.  I ordered room service, which never arrived, and settled for some Twizzlers instead.  When I called back over an hour later to check on my food they said my order was never written down and that it would be another 45 minutes. I decided I would rather roll over and go to sleep instead.  Overall, probably a good mood and I'm pretty sure a Twizzler dinner is probably just as healthy/nutritious as the dinner I had ordered.

Speaking of eating.....how awesome is my friend Candice who made an entire container of chili for me and my family upon my return from my trip?  She texted me when I was on my way to pick Macy up from her house and said that she had dinner ready for me.  She said she thought that I would probably not feel like cooking after being sick and traveling all week, to come home and have to cook.  Love you Candice!!  It made my week!!!
I think it's time to wrap up this random and out of order post up.  I started it two days ago and am now just finishing it.  I'm looking forward to today and this wonderful cool front that has come through.  Mark took Hayden to have some "guy time" and go pick up a small tractor.  I believe we are going to try and do some fence work later today?  Oh yeah, I still haven't shared what we are working on.....It is going to still have to be a surprise!
