So, this probably won't be one massive update, but I feel like I may need to get back into my blogging or else I will NEVER catch up! I really don't even know where to begin, but this fall like weather we have had the past two days does something to me that makes me think I could blog. The windows are open and the cool breeze is seeping in and Mark is headed to a football game later this morning with Hayden. The kids have had waffles for breakfast and are already wrapped up in their blankets catching the Saturday morning cartoons. Don't be fooled, the waffles, were not homemade. :) The cooler weather makes me feel alive and reflective, especially since I'm sitting here with my favorite breakfast at the computer, my coffee sweetened with my delicious Italian Sweet Cream and nibbling on what other fall favorite? Homemade Granola of course!!!! I was almost giddy last night when Mark asked me where our family recipe book was. I knew what he was looking for. This only means one thing......Fall must be here!!!!!!!
I have waited for the past 5 years for this Fall to arrive. I love Fall as I have mentioned numerous times before, but this Fall is when we get to experience all the fun through the eyes of a kindergartner. That's right, Ella started school and I'm loving all the fun artwork she is bringing home, but I'm secretly waiting for Halloween drawings and Harvest parties to begin. I wished we lived closer to her school so we could make a family walk there during a cool morning. I'm looking forward to cute sweaters in the morning and the warm,(note: I said warm, not hot), afternoons when she comes home. I'm looking forward to making Pumpkin Bread and lighting candles. Hurry up Fall I want you to officially be here and I want you to stay for a couple of months at least.
I feel like Fall is stepping into a Pottery Barn catalog. A silly thought, yes, but it's my imagination so don't mess with it. :) Tune in next time for an actual update instead of my ramblings on Fall. I promise to not wait so long.

Love that picture of you two!
I, for one, love summer and am sad to see it go. Though you do paint a pretty picture... :)
GREAT PICTURE! I am glad you are back bloggin'! I have missed you! And each year, I look forward to your posts during the fall and winter, because I know you LOVE this time of you, as do I! :) I can just see your house becoming decked out in fall soon...and I sure hope you use that big center piece from Sam's again, cause if not, I am coming to steal it!! Ha!
Hey---we have got to catch up!! I am glad that school is going well so far. I am so excited for fall to be here too! I am enjoying watching the temps go down. Hope they stay that way for a while.
fall, fall, fall...it's my favorite season too. And I could go on and on about it right along with you. Got the mums planted today, new fall wreath and decor in the house, had to light the pumpkin candle. Granted it is still 95 degrees outside...a girl can still dream of those cool days right?
