My Girl's Room

Ella's room is a special place.  It is becoming more and more so as she is getting older.
It is becoming the place that she creates her own tunes and renacts lines from Little Mermaid.  So dramatic singing "Here Comes Peter Cottontail, Coming Down the Bunny Trail."

Her room is the place that holds all the things that make Ella special.  Her princess music box that she has to listen to before going to bed.  Her unpacked bag from our trip to Grammie and Da's.  Her princess nightlight that has to be on at all times.  Macy's toys that somehow end up in Ella's stash of belongings. Of course, we cannot forget the kitchen that has stuffed animals in the refrigerator and ballet dress up shoes on the stove top.  I love that little kitchen.  Even if it is missing some of its stickers and kitchenware.
It's a place to display her artwork and mine.
It's like the blackhole for all the toys that belong to any other kid in the house.  Remember she is boss.  She controls the toys.  I'm contemplating calling TLC and turning her in for the Hoarders Show.  We need an intervention.
And unfortunately for Hayden, he is stuck playing with the babydoll bottles for entertainment while his trucks turn into carriages for Cinderella Barbies being carried to the ball.

Luckily for Macy they will eventually share a room and I am sure she will reclaim her ownership of many of the toys.

I love her room. Do you want to come over and paint my girls room? Such a talent there.
