Getting Bigger!

Ella's new Tinkerbell and Costume my Mom made for her!

Well, in multiple ways. Ella and I are both celebrating birthdays this month and well, I'm just getting bigger. I decided that we needed to go ahead and celebrate Ella's birthday a week early because I was afraid of it being too close to when Macy might arrive and I just didn't want to feel rushed or stressed with trying to wrap gifts and ice cupcakes, so last Tuesday we had a little celebration!
Ella with cousin Luke. Their birthday's are really only 4 days a part. The Table. I tried my hand at the royal icing again for the cookies and made my own buttercream icing for the cupcakes. I really enjoyed homemade icing! Time consuming, but worth it!!Ella with her new alligator that she was wanting. Strange I know for a little girl to want a reptile, but that's Ella for you!

As for my birthday, Mark and I had a wonderful evening out on Sunday night. Mark's parents watched the kids for us and then kept them overnight because I had a doctor's appointment this morning. So, it was fantastic to wake up this morning, get dressed and run some much needed errands without 2 kiddos in tow. It was wonderful how fast I was able to get in and out of stores!!

And finally, to update on Miss Macy, we are still hanging in there. I had my appointment today and it looks like we are making the move closer to her being here. The doctor estimates sometime in the next 2 weeks, but you just never know what babies have planned. So, still counting down to her due date, but will be thrilled to meet her anytime between now and then. Here is a picture from last Friday when I took my 36 week picture. So, that wraps it up for this week. Hopefully we'll have more exciting news in the next couple of weeks. Until then, if you are interested in helping me with this crazy "nesting" phase I'm in, come on over with your toothbrush and help me clean some grout. :)

Meredith, you look great!! Ella's pink and orange cupcakes/cookies were too cute!

Sorry I didn't get to stop by on Sunday. We ended up visiting a family member at Hendrick, and the girls were OUT in the car when we left there. I would have loved just to give you a hug and see your cute belly. I guess I'll settle for giving you and Macy a hug next time!!
