Just thought I would put up a quick post about Hayden's birthday and another walking video. This one is much clearer. Not that y'all are really that interested. Sorry, but you'll have to deal with it. Hayden's birthday wasn't all that exciting and to top it off he got 4 shots at the doctor's office. Poor guy. The rest of the day I kept him busy running errands for house stuff. (Side note: We're hopefully moving in next Friday!!!!!!!!) He never got a great nap and by the time we sat down for cake, it was already 20 minutes past his bedtime. So, the cake was a disaster. No digging in, no icing all over his face, just tears. I was disappointed, but I decided we would celebrate later with a party in a few weeks after we're moved. After singing Happy Birthday, I quickly tossed Hayden in the bed and the rest of us delved into the turtle cake. At the doctors office Hayden weighed in at 21 lbs. 3 oz. (30th percentile), 21.5 inches long (50th %) and I cannot remember how big his head was, and I too lazy to go look, but it is big. Let's just say my kid is a bobble head, just like Ella. It was in the 75th percentile. It is funny, but he and Ella are almost the exact same size at their 1 year well check. Amazing to me because I think Hayden is huge and I thought Ella was so small. They definitely carry the weight differently. Hope you enjoy the cake pictures. It is the first time for a turtle, but I think boy birthdays might end up being easier than girl birthday ideas. He's a big guy now!!

So you may move in a week?!? Wahoo! I can't believe Hayden is already one year old! The last pic shows him already acting like a brother.

Happy Birthday, Hayden! I didn't know about all of the stuff that happened when Hayden was born, but I'm so thankful things turned out the way they did! And yay on the move! I know you are excited and ready!

I can't believe it's already been a year since Hayden was born. It goes by way too fast. I love the turtle cake and the pictures. I agree, he's already acting like a brother:) Can't wait to see the house after you've moved in!!!
