Precious Babies

Just thought I would share some sweet pictures of my kiddos and beautiful niece and nephew. We went up to ACU on Saturday and attempted to take pictures of the kids. We had the help of Mark's parents and sister, Tara with the hope that we would get a great picture for their fireplace mantle. I do not believe we got one, but we did get several great pictures that are definitely frame worthy. Hayden was pretty ticked off that we would even think of setting him down. He has become pretty clingy therefore I bought him a onesie today with the word "Cranky" embroidered across the chest. It definitely suits him.

As far as the news on the home front, we have still yet to sell. Friday made one week with the realtor. I've been pretty upbeat about the whole thing, but for some reason today I'm feeling a little worn out and ready to feel secure about this house being sold and us starting the building process on our new home. I don't think I will feel relaxed until our Midland home sells.

This morning I jumped up on the roof and sawed off some branches from our neighbors tree that were rubbing on our roof. I don't want our house to sell and then upon inspection be told that we need a new roof because of limb damage from someone elses tree. KWIM??? So, after I got cute to run to the mall I made this decision to become a tree trimmer. Yes, I'm crazy I know, but proud of myself for getting out there and doing it. I don't know alot of girls that would. After that I had to haul the 10-15 branches I trimmed out to the dumpster. I think that was harder work. It was a nice morning for it though, nice and cool.

This afternoon I got the great chance to run over and see a friends new baby!! Cy Kaleb Smith! He is a tiny, precious, sweet little guy and a beautiful demonstration of God's love and plan. Ella was excited to share with Cy's big sister Saige just some of her tricks on how to torment the new center of attention.

I guess that sums it all. Oh, Mark is officially in his new job, so alot of commuting is taking place right now. Not sure if the kids really understand, but Ella is going to have to get used to rest stops for her potty breaks on the road to Abilene and Midland.

WOW you are brave. I am one that would not have trimmed trees for sure. You go girl!! And I must say the pictures are REALLY good. I am impressed. I think they are worth the framing for sure. Hayden is so big!! And on that note I want to meet the little guy on one of your many trips to Abilene. You just let me know when and where. I work on Tues. and Thurs. and train on Wed. at 10, but other than that, I am free!! Call me.

I think those pictures are beautiful and can't wait to take some of Mallory there! Ella looks so much like you!

You are brave for getting up on your roof, but it doesn't surprise me either:)

I'm out of the loop, what does KWIM mean??

Me too. What does KWIM mean? The pictures are precious! Hopefully the jump in the economy today will boost the housing market.
