We have made it through another year with our special boy! Just thought I would give an update on him and all he can do at two years old. Hayden is full of personality and keeps us on our toes. Maybe that is the reason I haven't updated blogger in a while. Actually with all that personality, temper tantrums and all, he makes us laugh multiple times a day. Hayden is also a cuddle bug. First thing in the morning he climbs up in bed with me and pulls back the covers so he can be right up next to me and then instructs me to pull the covers back over him. He sucks his thumb and we just have Mommy and Bubba time. After that we are usually running to put our shoes on. Hayden has a huge obsession with shoes. I'm not sure where that came from, but it is pretty funny. He has specific shoes he wants to wear too, so watch out if you pull out ones he didn't want to wear. One of the best things is that Hayden is very, very, very easy to put to bed. He just says, "Nigh, night" and that is it. No fussing just lots of hugs and kisses. Usually after you have given a kiss and you start to walk away, he will say, "again".
Hayden definitely makes alot of noise, alot of which I'm still deciphering. I know that he has a huge vocabulary it is just my lack of understanding. He get quite upset with me when I, "don't get it". He loves jumping on the trampoline and loves, loves, loves playing with any kind of ball. The funniest thing is when he wants to play catch and if he drops the ball he throws a huge fit. He also does this is we are playing baseball and if he misses hitting the ball he has a complete meltdown. Can we say, "Competitive?" Yes, I'm a crazy mom and since this week I was able to devote all my time to not going anywhere, sorry prayer group that I bailed, I decided to start the dreaded potty training. We have had some success and alot of failure, but if I can hang with it, I'm sure we can get through this. Let's just say Ella was a walk in the park compared to Mr. Hayman. I expected this though! So, enough rambling and on to some pictures. I took alot yesterday because I had been charging my battery so excuse his "potty training outfit". T-shirt and underwear are the way to go in this warm weather. To close out, I love you Hayden. My life would be incomplete with out you. I love being your Mommy and I cannot wait to see the person you are going to become.
Potty Training!
