Make Some Smoke!

That is the new phrase around here for Miss Ella. She started her first gymnastics class on Monday and she LOVED it. Actually, I think she was more excited about the sticker and candy that she got at the end than actually doing the gymnastics. Oh well. She was so cute! Anyway, to get the kids to run fast and jump into a hula hoop the teacher would say, "Make some smoke!" and the little tikes would take off as fast as their little legs could carry them. I loved watching and was definitely doing the mom thing with the video camera and digital camera. You would have thought it was her first day of school.

In other news, Hayden is 10 months old!! He took a couple of steps the other day, but I definitely think he is going to be our cautious child in comparison to Ella. Once you grab his hand he is off, but as soon as you let go, he gets nervous and squats down. He's got a lot of control and balance, he just isn't aware of it yet. I have a feeling it won't be too long. We've also got our first top tooth, with no second one in sight. He's definitely going to be an F.L.K.(funny lookin' kid) with one tooth, but I'm sure the other one will be here soon.

Both kids have been battling respiratory stuff which has kept me concerned about Hayden. He may be going back to the doctor today because he has finished his antibiotics and I haven't noticed any improvements. He still has that rattling cough. Ella is looking alot better so I think she is on the mend.

Jackie received some passes to the area health club and gave me one to use as well for the next month. Well, last night I decided to go take the Body Jam class, which is dancing aerobics and I had a BLAST!!! I cannot wait to go again! I didn't realize working out could be so much fun! Anyway, I think a membership is in order just to take that class. Very high energy!! The hour was over way to fast, but it definitely got my heart and breathing going. I hate doing cardio, I know that is strange since I ran track, but running long distance is not my idea of fun cardio, so this might just have to replace it!

Last, but not least, HOUSE update. They've finished all the outside rock and almost all the brick. They're rocking the fireplace today and the rest of the week. After that I believe they will start painting, which I was told was a 2 week process. After that, our counters, lighting, flooring and tile should be installed. So, we're still moving in the right direction. I just added one picture so you could see the house. The columns are not done on the porch yet, so this is an idea. Also the doors haven't been stained and the rest of the trim needs to be painted outside.

God bless!

Ella looks like such a big girl in her leotard! The house is looking beautiful. I'm sure you are soooo ready for it to be done and moved into!

Ok, did I tell you that I think that Stacy and I went in your house!!! Scarry!! We really like walking through houses that are being built to get ideas for our next one. (May sound boring to most, but we like it.) Anyway, New Years Day, Stacy was off work, so we went looking around. I told him that house looked familiar!!! That is so funny.
