We're Here....

That is right, we're now officially in Abilene. I cannot believe it. I feel like it has taken a long time to get to this point and we're still not at the end of the journey. As soon as I got in town last night we emptied the car, ate some dinner, checked on the storage unit, went to buy baby food and go check on the building process. It is amazing how far it really has come in the past two weeks. We are going to be pretty busy between now and the time the house is complete, but I'm sure we will have our share of non busy days as well. I'm ready to feel settled in one place for a while for the sake of the kiddos. Ella is still pretty crazy right now with her sleeping and I think that is just a part of her transitioning. Hayden is still waking early too which I wish would hurry up and change. Oh, strange little side note, you all need to try the Pumpkin Spice soy milk that is for sale right now. YUM!!!! Just another example of me being random. I must be ADD. Anyway, back to the other "important" stuff. We will be closed on Friday and I am still having bittersweet emotions. It was strange looking at the house with nothing in it and thinking about how many times my belongings have traveled back and forth along I-20. I know though that the journey is not through and there will be plenty more trips to my old home!

Ok so speaking of random... we drove through the area you are building and saw the biggest rattle snake I have ever seen... so keep an eye out for that. It was dead and really cool to look at I must add, but scarry. Stacy wants to move out to the country and that worries me. Call sometime and we can meet for lunch or something.
